Boost performance of your WordPress blog with the W3 Total Cache plugin

I started blogging with just a couple of plugins. Then I kept adding plugins until I noticed that it took almost 10 seconds to load a single page. By removing a couple of plugins, replacing some others, and following the guidelines given by YSlow I managed to reduce page load times to 2 seconds. Could the W3 Total Cache plugin reduce the page load times even further?
